Ross Detwiler

The Washington Nationals drafted Ross Detwiler in the first round (sixth overall) in the 2007 Major League Baseball Draft, making him the highest Missouri State draft pick in history. and made his MLB debut late that season. In 2012 he won a spot in the starting rotation, making 27 starts. Notable accomplishments for Ross include a NLDS win vs the St. Louis Cardinals in 2012 and also participating in the World Baseball Classic representing Team USA.

Nate Thompson

Nate Thompson is the current hitting coach for the Missouri State Bears. He joined the Missouri State Bears staff in July 2014 as MSU's lead hitting instructor and recruiting coordinator.  Thompson helped mentor outfielder Matt Jones, a 25th round selection of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2014 MLB Draft, Jayhawk West Most Valuable Player Jake Schleppenbach and national pitcher of the year Kyle Simonds, who became the first player in Hutchinson University history to earn first-team All-America recognition

Jason Hart

Jason Hart is the current Texas Rangers AA- RoughRiders' hitting coach. He will enter his fifth consecutive season and his eighth as a minor league instructor. He played first base for Frisco in 2005 and led the team with 28 doubles, 21 home runs, and 77 RBI. Hart made his only appearance in the Majors in 2002, playing in ten games for the Rangers.  During the season, he was named a Texas League Baseball America Double-A All-Star and a Texas League All-Star first baseman. Hart was selected by Oakland in the fifth round of the 1998 First-Year Player Draft out of Missouri State University.

Will Landsheft

Will Landsheft was named ABCA Midwest Region Pitcher of the Year his senior season and was the Great Lakes Valley Conference Pitcher of the Year. He finished his career as the all-time leader at Drury with 24 wins, 313 strikeouts, 10 complete games and 291.0 innings pitched. Will ranks second all-time with a 2.91 ERA and is third all-time with a .750 winning percentage, he also ranks fourth all-time with 56 game appearances at Drury University. Landsheft was drafted by the Arizona Dimondbacks for the 2014 year.
